It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William E. Whitby (Peoria, Illinois), who passed away on May 16, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William E. Whitby to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Whitby and Jennie Whitby (Smith); and his siblings, Otis, Tom Whitby and Ginger Wilcoxen.

He is survived by: his wife Jenny Julien; his children, Steve Whitby (Peggy) of Elmwood, Karen Helfers (Mike) of Peoria, Richard Whitby (Jackie) of Georgia and Scott Whitby (Marie) of Peoria; and his brother Robert Whitby (Trudy) of Peoria Heights. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
