William L. Onken Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William L. Onken of Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on October 10, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Tyler (Pruitt) and Earl Tyler; his daughter Alison Campbell; his great grandchild Colt Ellis; and his sisters, Betty Golden, Barbara Bastian and Patricia Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Onken; his children, William T. Onken (Melisa) and Susan G. Onken (Katy Walsh); and his grandchildren, Melissa, Brandon, Tori, Kirsten, Megan and Tyler. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ann Catholic Church (1010 S Louisa St, Peoria, IL 61605).
