He was predeceased by: his mother Sherry Ann Peterson (Sternal); his uncles, Glenn Sternal and Marty Maloney; and his grandparents, Dale Peterson, Mary Peterson (Galvin), Frank Sternal and Casmira Sternal (Rutkowski).
He is survived by: his father Dennis Dale Peterson; his sister Mary Peterson (Kyle Vadeboncoeur); his nephew Atlas James Vadeboncoeur; his stepsibling's children, Gianna and Jace Vadeboncoeur; his great-aunt Barbra Hamilton (Jim); his uncle Larry Sternal (Debbie); his aunt Patricia Maloney; and his cousins, Kellen Smith (Shawn), Scott Sternal (Katie), Michelle Perham (Dan), Shannon Telez (Justin), Sean Peterson (Amanda Wieder), Jimmy Galvin (Megan Langner), Denise Galvin, Sebastian Sternal, Olivia, Emily Perham, Alayna, Lillian and Tommy Peterson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home (112 W Main St, Peotone, IL 60468). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the wishes of the family would be appreciated.
