With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Joe Curtis of Peotone, Illinois, who passed away on July 10, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wilbur and Beulah Sparks Curtis; his siblings, Kenneth Curtis (Sycamore), Wyonna Forrest, Norma Mason and Marcia Long; his siblings-in-law, Don Forrest, Jim Long, Carol Curtis and Shirley Sprau; his daughter-in-law Rebecca Curtis; and his grandson Andy Dever-Curtis.
He is survived by: his wife Connie March-Curtis (Peotone); his children, Brad Curtis (Bloomington), Brett Curtis (Hawaii), Wyatt Curtis (Erin Mizer) and Shauna Curtis (Bloomington); his grandchildren, Savannah, Brielle, Trey, Kai, Miyana, Makynlee and Adriana; his stepchildren, Ben March (Bourbonnais), Brenda (Dean) and Haeffner (Glen Ellyn); his stepgrandchildren, Katharine, Jackson, Emma, Bianca, Ashton, Henry (Mayte), Clara, Collin and Kaedon; his brother Lynn (Deborah); his siblings-in-law, Karen Bryan, Butch Sprau, Kevin Sprau (Pam), Tena Sprau and Don Mason; and his caregivers, Aimee Blair and Shawn Love.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Manteno - Clancy-Gernon Funeral Homes, Inc. (291 N Main St, Manteno, IL 60950). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Risen Savior Lutheran Church (1881 W. Division St, Manteno, IL 60950).
