She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Barr and Edith Barr; her husband Wayne; her son-in-law Fred; her brother Burton; her sister-in-law Marilyn; and her nephew Kevin.
She is survived by: her children, Keith (Angela), Coralee Hardwick (Thomas) and Carol Burns (late Fred); her grandchildren, Christopher (Heather), Jennifer Ryan (Maurice), Lisa (Laben), Erich (Maddie), Carrie (Chris) and Amanda (Paul); her nieces, Lin (Joe) and Lori (Pete); and her cousins, Barbara, Bill and Kenneth. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home (112 W Main St, Peotone, IL 60468). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Green Garden Greenview Cemetery (26256 US-45, Manhattan, IL 60442).
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Hands of God Hospice.
