He was predeceased by: his parents, Elza Shoemaker and Reba Fowler Shoemaker; his siblings, Harold Shoemaker, Leslie Shoemaker, Garold Shoemaker and Connie Waite; his great grandchild Danielle Taylor; and his great great grandchild Aletheia'AJ'.
He is survived by: his wife Billie'Betty'Shoemaker; his children, David Allen Shoemaker, Jr. (Karen) of Chambersburg, IL and Patricia Walsh (Rich) of Perry, IL; his grandchildren, Brandi Woodward (Chuck), Clay Deeder (Megan), Gabrielle Kempf (Luke), Garrett Shoemaker (Shayla), Baileigh Brann and Steven Brann; his great grandchildren, Jason Taylor (Paige), Michelle Taylor, Mackenzie Lipcaman (Jebediah), Lexie Lipcaman, Colt Kempf, Reese Rigg, Ella Rigg, Reese McKinnon, River Rose Shoemaker, Garrett Woodward, Payton Woodward, Birdie Shoemaker and Kelton Deeder; and his sister Thelma Butler. He is also survived by four great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Niebur Funeral Home (530 W Adams St, Pittsfield, IL 62363). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM at the same location.
