He is survived by: his wife Norma L. Phillips; his children, Ginger Kuhn (Bob), Edward "Punk" F. Phillips, Jr. (Debbie), Angela "Sis" Johnson (Kent) and John Phillips (Orinda Gillham); his grandchildren, Austin Johnson (Jessica Fortune), Paige Schild (Drake), Dalton Johnson (Maleah), Phoenix Johnson, Ryan Phillips, Lyle Gillham, Colt Phillips, Addy Phillips, Charlotte Gillham and Rebekah Phillips; his great grandchildren, Ryker Kuehl, Raenyn Johnson, Tritt Johnson and Leland Deyoung; and his sister Judith Dugger. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
