With sadness, we share the passing of Allan James Boedigheimer (Peru, Illinois). Allan, born on September 4, 1947, passed away on October 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Lambert Boedigheimer; his nephew Michael Harvala; his great-nephews, Todd Allan and Eric Steven; and his uncle Stanley Anderson.
He is survived by: his mother Joyce Boedigheimer (Franklin); his wife Leona "Lea" Belle Lovelace; his children, Bryan and Penny; his grandchildren, Dylan and Jordan; and his siblings, Lee, Bruce, Cary, Donna Harvala, Deborah Huetteman and Mauri Heess.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Maples (1401 Shooting Park Rd, Peru, IL 61354).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association. The family has chosen to send donations to Alzheimer's AssociationDonate Now (https://act.alz.org).
