It is with sadness that the passing of Betty Roegner of Peru, Illinois is shared. Betty, born on January 9, 1939, passed away on June 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Kidd and Luella Kidd (Freeman); her husband Richard A. Roegner; and her brother Harold. She is survived by: her sons, Doug Roegner (Robin) of Rockford, IL, Tom Roegner (Kim) of Plantation, FL, Brad Roegner (Anne) of Bloomington, IL and John Roegner (Anne) of Naperville, IL.; her grandchildren, Lindsay (Daniel), Christopher, Katie (Justin), Kevin (Kristy), Nicholas (Thea), Erin (James), David, Ryan and Blake; and her great grandchildren, Emersyn, Jackson, Booker, Walker, Wrangler and Eleanor.
Memorials may be directed to St. John's Lutheran Church to continue Betty's tradition of providing bibles for the children of the congregation, or to the Children's Room at the Peru Public Library.
