He is survived by: his children, Brian Richard (Robin) of Toluca and Natalie Richard of Chicago; his grandchildren, Matthew Richard and Jenna Richard; and his great grandchild Aleeha.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM and on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Bethany Lutheran Church (302 N Birch St, Wenona, IL 61377). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Bethany Lutheran Church in Wenona, St. John's Lutheran Church in Peru, Wenona Fire Department, and OSF Hospice.
