It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Haupt of Peru, Illinois, born in Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on March 27, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Haupt and Anna Marie Haupt (Mack); and his wife Linda Horn. He is survived by : his children, Molly Haupt (Michael Walton), Megan Hassler (Chris) and Matt Hassler (Mary); his grandchildren, Vada Anne, Eldon and Nolan; and his siblings, Mike Haupt, Larry Haupt (Sandy), John Haupt (Lori) and Linda Dorsey (Fred). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
