He was predeceased by: his parents, George M. Heagy and Mary Jane Heagy (Boeddeker); his siblings, Nancy Marchiando and Richard Heagy; and his grandson Alex Heagy.
He is survived by: his wife Patti; his children, Eric Heagy (Jennifer) of Peru, Steve Pytel (Shannon) of Gilbert, SC, Leslie Pytel (Matt Lasson) of Princeton and Robert Heagy of Loves Park, IL; his grandson Gabriel Pytel (Jaymee Barbardo); and his children, Mason Nave, Ashley Heagy, Peyton Heagy, Savannah Pytel, Ella Heagy and Sawyer Pytel. He is also survived by 12 Nieces and Nephews, 2 aunts and uncles and many cousins.
