Elizabeth left this world on July 16, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Elizabeth leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Elizabeth may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Soeder and Catherine Soeder (Dondelinger); and her sisters, Susan Soeder, Caroline Weil and Dorothy Soeder.
She is survived by: her cousin Janet Benvenutti of Peru; and her caregiver Dianne Staublein. She is also survived by many other cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:50 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (1925 5th St, Peru, IL 61354). A Mass was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Peru City Cemetery (2121 Shooting Park Rd, Peru, IL 61354).
