With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frank James Majewski of Peru, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 25, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Majewski Sr. and Bernice Verry (Cox); and his sister Sandy Hoon. He is survived by: his wife Doris Marie Stone; his children, Steve Majewski (Lynn) and Susan Hassler; his grandchildren, Christie Freas (Jon), Melissa Freas, Jessica Varnes (Steve), Justin Hassler (Kendel) and Sarah Gabrielse (Kevin); his great grandchildren, Brooklynn Freas (Ben Tegeler), Haleigh Freas, Ashlei Behrens, Matthew Gabrielse, Addison Gabrielse, Levi Freas and Francesca Hassler; and his brother Ronald Verry.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Frank's name to support dementia research.
