He was predeceased by: his parents, William Armstrong and Cecilia Armstrong (Markut); and his former wife Virginia "Ginger" Willie. He is survived by: his wife Rita Piacentini of Peru.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mueller Funeral Home - Peru (909 Pike St, Peru, IL 61354). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Peru City Cemetery (2121 Shooting Park Rd, Peru, IL 61354).
