He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Walter and Edna Walter (Schobert); his children, Loren Walter and Susan Pulliam; and his siblings, Glen Walter, Gail Bohannon and Clarence Walter.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Frances; his children-in-law, Kimberly "Kim" Wheeler and Geoffrey "Geo" Pulliam; his grandchildren, Kerri Clock (Jason), Scott Walter (Christy) and Robert Pulliam; and his siblings, Alan Walter (Kathie), Ruth Ann Cramer (Gene), Doris Mattison (Bob) and Merle Walter (Linda). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
