He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Marek Schaive and Irene Schaive (Gates); his wife Joyce Schaive; and his brother John Schaive. He is survived by: his sister Carol Bulleit of Cleveland, GA; his children, Karen Gregorich (Dan) of Oglesby and Chris Schaive (Tiffany) of Surprise, AZ; his grandchildren, Katie Ruden (Brett) of Dubuque, IA, Holly Gregorich of St. Charles, Ethan Schaive of Ottawa and Briton Schaive of Surprise, AZ; his great grandchildren, Paisley and Adalynn Ruden of Dubuque, IA; and his sister-in-law Margie Danner (Lesa Schaive) of Ottawa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
