John S. Giovannini Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John S. Giovannini of Peru, Illinois, born in Seatonville, Illinois, who passed away on September 2, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, John shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Giovannini and Jenny Giovannini; and his daughter Mary Petre. He is survived by: his sons, Michael Giovannini (Sandy) of Naperville and Jim Giovannini of Tucson, AZ; and his grandchildren, Eric Petre, Gina Neitzel, Alex Giovannini (Kelly) and John Giovannini (Colleen). He is also survived by nine great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Illinois Veteran's Home at La Salle in honor of John.
