It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Henry Patyk of Peru, Illinois, born in Spring Valley, Illinois, who passed away on December 19, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry John and Bernice Caroline Patyk (Loebach). He is survived by: his wife Debra Ann Poremba of Peru; his children, John J. Patyk (Amy) of Oglesby and Carolyn R. Clayton (Trevor) of Ladd; his grandchildren, Joseph, Jacob Patyk, Lyla, Scarlett Clayton and Sarah Patyk; his siblings, Terry Patyk (Laura) of Lostant, Mary Koenen (Bill) of St. Germain, Wisconsin, Kristie Laio (Larry) of LaSalle, Karen Bacidore (Randy) of Riverside and Janelle Bichl (Fran) of Chicago; and his brothers-in-law, Jeff Poremba (Kelly) of LaSalle and Randy Poremba of Peru. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
