He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonidas Kapetaneas and Maria Kapetaneas (Vavaroutsos); and his brother Elias Kapetaneas. He is survived by: his wife Freda Lympiotakos of Peru; his daughters, Mary Cusick (Dan) of Peru, Voula Charouhis (Lou) of Warrenville and Leona Kelly (Kerry) of Oglesby; and his grandchildren, Alex Cusick, Kristina Cusick, Kaitlyn Kelly and Lia Charouhis. He is also survived by nieces; and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. George Orthodox Church in Spring Valley.
