Linda A. Bokus Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda A. Bokus (Peru, Illinois), who passed away on June 27, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Linda departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Linda. Though Linda may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Yaklich and Vivian Yaklich (Schwamberger); her sister Debbie Pyszka; her son Scott Duane Bokus; and her grandson Kyle John Burkiewicz.

She is survived by: her husband Duane Bokus of Roch's Church; her son Tim Bokus (Katrina Fraley) of LaSalle; and her granddaughter Gina Burkiewicz (Brett) of LaSalle.
