We are sad to announce that, on January 26, 2026, at the age of 96, Lois (Halm) Zukowski of Peru, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Halm and Ann Halm (Leyes); her husband Walter R. Zukowski of Valentine's Church; and her daughter Ann. She is survived by: her children, Walter J. Zukowski (Nancy), J. D. (Thomas H. Zukowski) of Peru, Julia Zukowski of Chicago, Lois Thomas (Dan) of Frisco, TX and Paula Dlesk (Rich) of Grayslake; and her grandchildren, Walter (Amy), Abigail, Emily Carney (Pat), William Zukowski (Alyssa), Danielle, Rachel, Ryan Thomas, Anna Zanoni (Luke), Clare Dlesk, Grace, Eve and Mae Zukowski. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
