She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred C. Slatner and Donna Slatner (Hobneck). She is survived by: her husband Larry Happ; her sister Sally Kampwerth Jr. (Simon) of Peru; her nieces, Josie Kampwerth (Kyle Quick) and Avary Kampwerth; her brother-in-law Terry Happ (Frances); her sibling's children, Drs and Jenna Happ; her sister-in-law Carrie Dean (Charles); and her nephew Michael Dean (Amber). She is also survived by many great nieces, and nephews, several cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorials maybe directed to the family for her favorite charities.
