She was predeceased by: her parents, John R. Herbert and Anna C. Herbert (Buff); and her husband Bill. She is survived by: her sons, Scott Lipka (Rita) of Peru and William Lipka IV (Cheryl) of Spring Valley; her grandchildren, Keith Lipka (Ericka) of Anna, TX, Emma Kopco (Phil) of Bloomington and Trenton Lipka of Bloomington; and her siblings, Jean Bialas (Don) of Waterman, Elaine Powers of Amboy, Rita Korngiebel (Walter) of Boscobel, WI and John "Jack" Herbert (Sharon) of Mendota. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the National Diabetes Association.
