She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Michels and Jennie Michels (Sabatini); her husband Howard C. Dean of Joseph's Church; her daughter Lori Kohr; her brother David Michels; and her grandchildren, Katie Dean, Kari Ryan and John Swiskoski.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Swiskoski (Dan) of Maryville, TN, Susan Jacobsen (Greg) of Alabama, Charles Dean (Carrie) of LaSalle, Ami Dean of LaSalle and Jodi Taylor (Ron) of Lincoln. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Mueller Funeral Home - Peru (909 Pike St, Peru, IL 61354). A prayer will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (1925 5th St, Peru, IL 61354). A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Vincent's Cemetery.
