With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rita Harper of Peru, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 1, 2026 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Harper and Opal Harper (Fry); and her siblings, Denny, Sandy, Cathy and Lona.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Harper of Peru, Toby Harper (Jessica) of Ottawa, Joshua Harper of Granville and Jennifer Harper (Josh Zukauski) of Wyanet; and her siblings, Wayne, Larry, Danny, Rodney, Joe, Janice and Judy. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
