It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Paul Mellen Jr. of Peru, Illinois, who passed away on October 2, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert R. Mellen and Doris Mellen (Turner); and his close friend Rex Schumacher. He is survived by : his wife Rachael; his children, Elizabeth Craig of Bloomington, Alice Mellen and Robert C. J. Mellen; his daughter-in-law Kerry Flood-Mellen of Cleveland, Ohio; and his sister Jill Mellen of Portland, Oregon. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
