It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Allen Gisler of Peru, Illinois, who passed away on July 13, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Jr. Gisler and Carol Gisler (Pakula); his sister Lynn Marie Gisler; his brother-in-law Bryan Fues; his nephew Justin Pratt; his stepson Bryan Leonard; and his stepgranddaughter Johnna Woodshank.
He is survived by: his wife Cyndee Walgenbach; his children, Stacy Gisler of Florid, Brad Gisler of Spring Valley and Matt Gisler (Kristi) of Cedar Point; his stepdaughter Deanna Zeman (Jason) of Peru; his grandchildren, Kynzie, Emily, Anthony, Landon, Ashlyn, Kayson and Colton; his stepgrandchildren, Kelton, Adrianna, Sage and Jadie; his great grandchildren, Carter, Zaylen and Henleigh; and his siblings, Paula Fues of Cherry, Lori Brown (Thomas) of Cherry and Norman Gisler (Carolyn) of DePue. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mueller Funeral Home - Peru (909 Pike St, Peru, IL 61354). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Peru City Cemetery (2121 Shooting Park Rd, Peru, IL 61354).
