He was predeceased by: his parents, William S. Hawley and Madelyn Hawley (Nanni); and his stepfather Art Hahn. He is survived by: his wife Susan Hawley of Peru; his daughter Lisa Hawley of Peru; his grandchildren, Patrick Shan Jr. of Peru and Starlynn Shan of Peru; his close friend Andrea Shan (Patrick Sr.) of Peru; and his sisters-in-law, Sharon Prokuski of Bloomington, Donna Martin (Bob) of La Moille and Diane Prokuski of Peru.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Valentines Catholic Church (1109 Pulaski St, Peru, IL 61354). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
