It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Taft Zitoun of Peru, Illinois, who passed away on July 15, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of William Taft Zitoun to show support.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Taft Henry and Genevieve A. Zitoun (Abel); and his brothers-in-law, Arlan McLaughlin and Duane Etheridge. He is survived by : his wife Debra Stanton (Connerly) of Utica; his sons, Taft Zitoun (Lai) of San Diego, CA and Eric Stanton (Carey) of Scottsdale, AZ; his grandchildren, William, Violet Zitoun, Cole and Jordan Stanton; and his siblings, James Zitoun (Denise) of Marseilles, Madeline McLaughlin of Peru, Marilyn Etheridge of Peru and Paula Lawless (Leroy) of Streator. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Illinois Valley Animal Rescue or to any animal charity of the donor's choice.
