He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Campbell and Dorothy Campbell (Edwards); his daughter Ellen Marcy; his grandson Gage Robert Campbell Lynch; and his brother Mark Campbell.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Campbell of Petersburg; his children, Laurie Ann Thomas (Trent) of Petersburg and Hailey Jane Campbell of Petersburg; and his grandchildren, Chloe Marcy (Aron Kennedy), Payton Lynch, Remington Thomas and Maverick Thomas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
