Arlen Carson Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Carson and Edna Carson (Queen); and his siblings, Loran Dale Carson and Melba Denton. He is survived by: his wife Janet Carson; his children, Kit Haake (Glenn) of Nashville and Jason Carson (Mincie) of Batesville, Arkansas.; his grandson Catlin Bigham (Jeana) of Columbia, IL; and his great grandchildren, Will and Catherine Bigham.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (315 W South St, Pinckneyville, IL 62274). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial donations may be made to the Presswood-Daffron American Legion Post 2504, United Mine Workers, or Pinckneyville Community Hospital.
