It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard C. Martin of Pinckneyville, Illinois, who passed away on November 5, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George F. Martin and Caroline Martin (Bruns); and his siblings, George Martin, Jr., Joe Martin, Frank Martin, John Martin, Steve Martin, Caroline Martin, Joann Sexton, Cathy Presswood, Juliann Loos and Tammy Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Martin; his children, Scott Martin (Beth), Amy Fuller (Rodger), Charles Martin (Jodi) and Michael Martin (Jennifer); his siblings, Mary Faulkner, Cris Moore (Lee) and Mary Skort (Doug); his grandchildren, Bryce Martin (Lindsay), Dylan Martin (Emily), Zach Martin (Haleigh Bland), Joey Fuller (April), Dalton Fuller (Katie), Hayden Fuller (Tyah Chapman), Emily Martin (Derrick Masulla), Matthew Martin (Olivia Asbury), MaddyRay Martin and Grayson Martin; his great grandchildren, Mikayla, Colton, Reed, Ashton, Wyatt, Layne, Jake, Loudyn and Callahan; his sister-in-law Marilyn Martin; and his cousins, Jim Bruns and Marilyn Herring. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Paul United Church of Christ (205 E Jackson St, Pinckneyville, IL 62274). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
