He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson S. Jenkel and Evelyn L. Jenkel (Fisher); his wife Christina "Tina" Buettner; his son Jonathan Daryl "J. D." Jenkel; his brothers, Everett "Blue" Jenkel and Bobby Joe Jenkel; his great grandchild Olivia Wadkins; and his nieces, April Jenkel and RaiDean O'Brien.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Jenkel (Barbara) of Pinckneyville, IL, RaiDean Landreth (Bruce) of Iuka, IL, Traci Johnson (Dale) of Ava, IL, Scott Jenkel (Amy) of Pinckneyville, IL, Beverly Baxter of DuQuoin, IL and Clay Jenkel (Laurie) of Tamaroa, IL; his brother Reverend Jimmy Jenkel (Fran) of Benton, IL; and his sons, Timmy Lynch of Elmore, OH and Tommy Jausel of Fernandia Beach, FL.. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.
