She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Bell and Frances Bell (Dikeman); her husband Richard Jackson "Jack" Smith; and her son-in-law Doug Kennedy. She is survived by: her children, Mark L. Romine (Susan) of Bloomington, Gina Driskell of Pinckneyville, Jennifer McCrary (Terry) of Pinckneyville, Jackie Alvis (Toby) of Du Quoin and Brian Smith of Colombia. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a host of extended family.
