It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Carson of Pinckneyville, Illinois, who passed away on May 15, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard L. Carson and Charity "Jackie" Carson (Fisher); his son Benjamin Lee Carson; his brother Gary Lee "Bean Can" Carson; and his grandson Cashton.
He is survived by: his wife Rosie Carson of Pinckneyville, IL; his children, Jamey Carson (Luci) of Pinckneyville, IL, Zeno Carson (Kendra) of DuQuoin, IL, Andy Gewe of Paducah, KY and Lexi Carson of Pinckneyville, IL; his sister Toni Engelhardt (Richard) of Pinckneyville, IL; his grandchildren, Jace Gewe, Jadyn Gewe, Jadah Holmes (Alec), Ashlyn Carson, Chevy Carson, Cameryn Pickens, Cassidy Pickens, Chance Moss, Hunter Carson, Skylair Carson and Atom Davis; and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Shaw (Ron), Joyce Eisenhauer (Mike), Trudy Ruffino (Tony) and Fred Mathis (Ruth).
