She was predeceased by : her former life partner Sherman Gill; her parents, James A. Hume and Ruby; and her siblings, James Hume, Helen Austin and Charles Hume.

She is survived by : her husband Gary Thomure; her sons, James Gill and Jason Gill (Teresa); her granddaughter Katrina Dawn Malone; her sister Kathy Thompson; and her pets, Chubby, Rusty and Snuggy. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
