He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Thesen and Madeleine Thesen; his wife Debbie; his children, Jennifer Flanagan (Glen), Amber King (Shannon), Greg Thesen, Chuck Santoria, Mark Santoria (Sarah) and Misty Darnell; his grandchildren, Jordan, Joshua, Savannah, Matthew, Madeline, Jurnee, Cyrus, Jensen, Ainslee and Avery; his great grandchild Elsie Rae; and his brother Gary Thesen.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.
