She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Portwood and Lucy M. Graner Loy; her husband Donald W. Ghrist; her sons, Donald L. Ghrist and Ronald W. Ghrist; her daughter-in-law Becky Ghrist; and her siblings, Woodrow Loy, Gertrude Parnell, Mary Price and Harry Loy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen L. Fox (Roger) of Pittsfield, IL and Deborah S. Ghrist (Robert Goby) of Springfield, IL; her grandchildren, Brian Fox, Bradley Fox (Stephanie), Adam Ghrist (Tracie), Joseph Ghrist (Taryn Bell), Aubrie Hubbert (Bryan) and Sam Ghrist (Lexy); her great grandchildren, Shaun Kelly, Reid Fox, Rowdy Fox, Daisy Fox, McKenna Ghrist, Brooklynn Ghrist, Abram Ghrist, Ronni Hubbert, Cori Hubbert, Briggs Hubbert and Harvey Ghrist; and her sister Dorothy Schmidt.
