It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobette VanAlstine (Pittsfield, Illinois), who passed away on February 17, 2026, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Bobette may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Bobette touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Wasilewski and Wilda Dirks Wasilewski; her husband Alex VanAlstine; and her siblings, Keith Wasilewski, Randy Wasilewski and Angie Long.
She is survived by: her daughter Adelynne Jones; her grandson Kohen Jones; and her pet Betsy.
