He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth E. Kendall and Carolena J. Wendorff Kendall; his wife Mary Ruth Murphy; and his brothers, Robert W. Kendall and Kenneth A. Kendall.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kim Hall (Charlie) of Danville, IL and Sara Bartlow (Nathan) of Rushville, IL; his grandchildren, Rachel Hanlin (Heath), Sarah Hall, Daniel Hall, Amy Thompson and William Thompson; his great grandchildren, Madeline Hanlin, Henry Hanlin and Jesiah Hall-Harpst; and his sibling's children, Thomas Kendall (Mary Jo) and Kathy Hatton (Larry Lucy).
A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pittsfield West Cemetery (24123 N Grove St, Pittsfield, IL 62363).
Memorials are suggested to be made to West Cemetery or Pittsfield American Legion Post #152.
