David E. Grimsley Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David E. Grimsley of Pittsfield, Illinois, who passed away on March 12, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl A. Grimsley and Edna F. Mooney Grimsley; his wife Margaret A. Sapp; his brother Charles Grimsley; and his brother-in-law Walter Cress.
He is survived by: his children, William'Bill' Grimsley (Laura) of Pittsfield, IL and Shirley Braden of Pittsfield, IL; his grandchildren, Tyler Grimsley and Shelby Braden (Jeffrey Scott); his great grandchild Jackson; and his sisters, Carlene Cress and Judith Borrowman (Ronnie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Niebur Funeral Home (530 W Adams St, Pittsfield, IL 62363). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to be made to Oakwood Cemetery.
