With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis Workman of Pittsfield, Illinois, who passed away on July 7, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Workman and Arlene Workman; his grandson Travis Conkright; his sister Rosie Haigopian; and his in-law Bennie.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Workman; his children, Denise Conkright (Jason) of Griggsville, IL, Dennis Workman (Michelle) of Barry, IL, Diane Vose (Mitch) of Griggsville, IL, Darcy Westfall of Quincy, IL, Sharon Lane (Richard) of Anchorage, AK, Devin Workman of Jacksonville, IL and Darin Workman (Lori) of Pleasant Hill, IL; his grandchildren, Dr. Kendra Conkright (Derek Oitker), Dennis Logan Workman, Kayla Spann (Jerred), Chase Vose (Megan), Chance Vose, Jennifer Warren (Greg Lash), Emily Heininger, Elizabeth Heininger, Isaac Workman, Hannah Workman, Daniel Workman, Dylan Workman, Drew Workman and Larissa Workman; and his siblings, Pearl McGowin, Sharon Quitasol (Ernie) and Bill Workman (Annie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nebo Church of the Nazarene (227 W Washington St, Pittsfield, IL 62363). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to be made to Nebo Church of the Nazarene.
