The memory of Diana McCartney of Pittsfield, Illinois, who passed away on December 9, 2025 at the age of 77, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her sister Jeanne Personett; her in-laws, Frank Jr. and Mildred McCartney; and her husband Denny McCartney. She is survived by: her children, Lisa (Eric Scranton) of Pittsfield, IL, Debbie (Matt Elledge) of Highland, IL, Michael (Crystal McCartney) of Pittsfield, IL and Brad (Liz McCartney) of O'Fallon, IL; her grandchildren, Alayna (Trenten), Nate Scranton, Aaron, Austin Elledge, Mattison, Grant McCartney, Lily and Maggie McCartney; and her brother Gary (Cheree Jeffries) of Tucson, AZ.. She is also survived by her two youngest granddaughters.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Niebur Funeral Home (530 W Adams St, Pittsfield, IL 62363). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations can be made to the Pike County Sweetheart Pageant, an organization supporting individuals with disabilities and founded by her granddaughter, Matti.
