She was predeceased by: her parents, William Er and Eva Bell Atherton (Ward); her husband Kermit Willard Couch; and her siblings, Art, Ira (Bill), Roy Atherton, Perle Moore, Ethel Pitchford, Ida Fry and Iva Wildt.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Lou Buchanan (Elbie); her granddaughter Cindy Freesmeyer (Brent); her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Kelsey; her granddaughter Carrie Freesmeyer (Jeremy); and her great grandchildren, Jaden and Clay.
Memorials are suggested to be made to Pittsfield West Cemetery.
