He was predeceased by: his parents, David Crockett and Hazel Brown Crockett; his son Daniel James Crockett; his siblings, Tom Crockett, Charles Crockett, Joe Crockett, Lola Marie, Glen Crockett, Doris Crockett, Betty Phinney, Mary Marlow, Dick Crockett, Dave Crockett and Dan Crockett; his parents-in-law, Claude and Irene Newman; and his siblings-in-law, Gerald Newman, Florence Richards Croxville and Nedra Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Nina Kay Newman; his children, Denise Caldwell (Ron) and Duane Crockett (Rita); his grandchildren, Stephanie Shireman, Matthew Crockett, David Crockett (Alex Menke), Jacob Crockett (Nicole Brix), Crystal Caldwell and Erica Parker (Jared); his great grandchildren, Elijah Palmer, Hadley Parker, Ivey Parker and Benson Parker; and his siblings-in-law, Ronald Newman and Brenda Shipley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
