He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Elmer, Alberta Shaw, Robert and Joyce Groom; his uncles, Bobby Groom and Wally Groom; and his cousins, Sheila'Bumper'Shaw and Austin Shaw.
He is survived by: his parents, Kerry Groom and Sandra Shaw Groom; his daughter Alyvia Groom of Pittsfield, IL; his sister Kara Jockisch (Norman); and his aunts and uncles, J. D. Wilcox, Steve Shaw (Belinda), Shelly Hobson (Todd) and Joan Groom.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Niebur Funeral Home (530 W Adams St, Pittsfield, IL 62363). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
