It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Wessel of Pittsfield, Illinois, who passed away on January 6, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Henry and Hattie Barrett Henry; her brother Jim Henry; and her brother-in-law John Standish. She is survived by: her husband Pete Wessel; her son Joe Wessel (Jennifer) of Pittsfield, IL; her granddaughters, Gretchen Wessel of Springfield, IL and Allison Couch (Max) of Suffolk, VA; and her sisters, Ellen Standish and Verna Stone (Rick). She is also survived by her family but the many friends.
Memorials are suggested to be made to Pittsfield West Cemetery or Pittsfield First Christian Church.
