He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Green and Mildred Kraut Green; his siblings, Richard Green, Sharon Einwick and Pam Green; and his stepchildren, Steve Woosley, Butch Woosley, Bruce Woosley, Rick Woosley and Patricia Meyers.

He is survived by: his wife Norma Green of Pittsfield, IL; his children, Phil Green (Donna) of Collinsville, IL, Robert Carl Green, Jr. of West Virginia, Penny Taylor (Jason) of Pittsfield, IL, Becky Chamberlain (Stan) of Nebo, IL, Chris Green (Kim) of Alton, IL and Connie Radcliff (Rodger) of Alton, IL; his stepchildren, Gene Street (Tonia), Tony Woosley (Lorie), Ronald Woosley (Vera) and Tammy Pennell; and his sisters, Kay Collins (Chuck) of California and Janet Gardner (George) of Oregon. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; fourteen step grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren.
