He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bozek and Anna Bozek; and his siblings, Walter, Elizabeth "Elsie", Louis and Edwin.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara A. Bozek of Crest Hill and Lonnie M. Srbeny (Gerry) of Crest Hill.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Overman-Jones Funeral Home (15219 Joliet Rd, Plainfield, IL 60544). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Ambrose Catholic Church (1711 Burry Cir Dr, Crest Hill, IL 60403). A committal service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery (7201 Archer Rd, Justice, IL 60458).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Chester's memory may be made to a veteran's organization of the donor's choice.
